HOW SAFE IS IT? WILL I GET HURT?

Statistically speaking, martial arts training is safer than soccer, baseball, and more popular sports. Every sport has the potential for injury. This is why we are EXTRA careful when we run our classes, and only use expertly trained ADULT instructors, have matted floors and walls and are hyper vigilant during training. Don’t like to get hit? Neither do we, MOST of our classes can be done with no striking to the face or body.

ISN’T EVERYONE IN THE CLASS ALREADY EXPERIENCED? I DON’T WANT TO ANNOY MORE EXPERIENCED STUDENTS

Everyone who looks like they know what they are doing, joined us without knowing anything, just like YOU! Every student has their first day and those feelings when starting to learn something new are unavoidable. As an established facility, we are used to successfully and safely integrating new students EVERY DAY in our beginner friendly classes and you will be fine.

I HAVE A PRE-EXISTING INJURY OR CONDITION, CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE?

You would be surprised how common this is and how many people join every day with an existing knee/shoulder/back etc. injury. If you are unsure if your condition is serious or not, check with your doctor, otherwise our coaches can always give you an alternative exercise if you have a limitation that you need to work around.

I AM NOT ATHLETIC, HOW WILL I BE ABLE TO EXCEL WITH YOU?

Yes! Martial arts were designed for smaller, less athletic people to defend themselves against larger, more aggressive attackers. It’s not the size of the dog in the fight that matters, but the fight in the dog. Work ethic, discipline and character are more important than athleticism.

DO WE HAVE TO COMMIT TO A PROGRAM?

As you probably know, commitment and dedication are major factors in accomplishing goals, we completely empathize with your being unsure when starting out. This is why we offer money back guarantees which can be laid out in your initial consultation with a Program Manager.
